The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining is currently looking for an experienced bilingual (Mandarin & English) Administrator to support the Processing team to provide high level administration support within the Concentrator and Dewatering areas. This is a great opportunity to work in a world class organisation, surrounded by some of the largest mining machinery in the world. This will be a permanent full time contract, site based on a 9/5 roster FIFO from Perth.

The Purpose of the Role

This role will require an Administrator who is highly organised and has a flexible approach to their work. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Compliance with Duty of Care, CPM policies and procedures and statutory requirements
  • Entering SAP notifications and confirmations
  • Maintain area rosters and assist travel teams with flight and accommodation requests
  • Supporting the department by providing general day to day administration tasks as required

The Requirements

We are looking for a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and 2-3 years' experience in similar administrative position. Highly advanced communication skills (both oral and written) and computer literacy are essential for this position. You will be a solution focused individual with strong problem solving skills. We are now seeking a Lubrication Technician to join our Maintenance team at the Tropicana Gold Mine.

Accountable to the Senior Reliability Engineer, the role is accountable for ensuring maximum efficiency of equipment and high plant availability in a safe and sustainable manner by efficiently and effectively maintaining and improving all fixed plant hydrocarbon installations.

The Lubrication Technician will be an active member of the Maintenance Team, contributing to the daily maintenance and condition monitoring strategies. This role is based on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth or Kalgoorlie.

The main tasks of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Carry out routine lubrication tasks on fixed plant equipment, focusing on contamination control and filtration improvements in a safe and timely manner in accordance with the maintenance schedule and service instructions.
  • Coordinate the quality and quantity of storage, dispensing and waste disposal of all lubrication oils, hydraulic oils and greases in accordance with ISO 14001, Australian standards and AGA standards while striving to achieve best practise and AGA total fluid management standards.
  • Conduct routine mechanical inspections and condition monitoring of all fixed plant and equipment, analyse results provided by vendors or from site analysis and recommend changes, escalating as required.
  • Filling, draining, sampling and maintaining onsite hydrocarbon reservoir levels, including but not limited to, gearboxes, fuel tanks, lubrication systems and waste tanks.
  • Installation and maintenance of lubrication hardware including labels, mechanical level indicators, fill and drain fittings, breathers, filters, sample points and various greasing systems in order to maintain AGA standards.
  • Ensuring all lubrication and fuel issues, including leaks, contamination, usage and component failures are investigated thoroughly so that the root cause can be identified.
  • Actively utilise SAP to ensure maintenance work orders and defects are accurately recorded and information is correct and up-to-date with the appropriate urgency rating.
  • Continuously strive to improve, by searching and listening to new ways of performing jobs and new technology.
  • In moments of low work load or as priority requires, assist other Maintenance Department functions are requested and required.
  • Provide ad hoc training on lubrications and sampling to Technicians: Mechanical Maintenance and Technicians: Processing Plant.

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Qualified Mechanical trade e.g. Fitter/LV Mechanic
  • WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s License
  • Experience in the maintenance of mineral processing or heavy industrial plants
  • Experience in lubrication and fuel management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels is also required. This position will require a ‘hands on’ approach
  • Computer literate

  • Forklift ticket

The Global Advisory Panel (GAP) on Corporate Governance and Risk Management of Blood Services in Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies is a group of experts from Red Cross Red Crescent (RC/RC) blood programmes. GAP provides guidance and advice to sister RC/RC blood services around the world and is supported by a small secretariat currently based at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and team orientated individual to join the GAP team. Based in Herdsman, Perth, this 12 month fixed term position is part time for 22.8 hours per week (0.6 FTE). The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the self-assessment plan in each region and support the International Secretariat Technical Program Manager in the implementation of other GAP projects and the provision of secretariat services. The Self-assessment questionnaire assists blood services to identify their risk management challenges, and the feedback reports developed by GAP offer risk reduction strategies.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • High volume data validation and data cleansing
  • Processing salaries and standard allowances, Change of Conditions, terminations, expense reimbursements and incentive payments.

  • Administration and reconciliation of employee leave entitlements as well as employee deductions including payments to external parties
