The Role
Our successful Trade Sales Team is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Sales Representative to service and develop our existing Perth CBD and surrounding customer base with a key focus on identifying and winning new business. Your typical customer will be down to earth and will want someone who can deliver what they say.
In this highly autonomous role, you will have the skills to relate to a diverse range of customers from small trade painting businesses to large commercial firms and builders in the housing and commercial markets. You will enjoy creating lasting professional relationships with existing customers and winning new business by achieving agreed targets.
Essential Criteria
- To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Experience in a high performing territory management role ideally in the same regional area
- Successful sales background and the ability to deal with technical and trade related enquiries
- Strong communication, relationship building analytical and problem solving skills
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Previous experience within the paint & coatings industry (highly advantageous)
- Experience in taking building specifications
