About the Company

Mountain Designs has been in the outdoor clothing and equipment retailing business for over 35 years and have a number of stores throughout Australia and New Zealand. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic sales and customer service focused Store Manager to join our busy Claremont store!

About the Role

To be successful in this role you will need to be a self-motivated leader who can meet budgets and sales targets and a genuine passion for retail. Previous retail management experience a must.

Duties

  • Day to day store operations including managing the sales floor
  • Monitoring and achieving store sales budgets
  • Ensuring a high standard in customer service
  • Staff development and training
  • Stock management and store presentation
  • Managing the promotions and visual merchandising

Skills and Experience

  • Previous retail management experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven sales record & strong customer service skills
  • Be results driven and approachable to both Customers and Retail Assistants
  • Mature minded and a confident communicator
  • Presentable and well mannered
