Initially your role will be as a hands-on Java Developer, allowing you to get to grips with their flagship product which utilises Big Data algorithms, social networking and Cloud computing as the role progresses you will become a Development Manager with wider ranging responsibilities and less programming.
From day one you’ll work closely with the Chief Engineer to assist with designing and implementing efficient and pragmatic processes across the engineering function and act as a guardian of process quality within an agile development environment.

Requirements:
- Strong core Java design and development experience across the full development lifecycle
- Thorough understanding of object orientated programming and computing fundamentals
- Familiar with algorithm design and data structures
- Good knowledge of at least one RDBMS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, pragmatic and able to influence others
- Good understanding of Agile development methodologies / the role of Scrum Master
