To be successful in this role you will have recently graduated in an Accounting or related business area. Your understanding of accounting principles, practice and how they relate to a government entity will be beneficial. Effective concise and clear communication ability will also be critical elements for this role.

Your role

As a Customer Service Representative within our Life Insurance business, you will provide outstanding service to our customers as they look to protect their family and lifestyle against unexpected events.

You will receive inbound calls from both internal and external customers and advisers, and help them resolve their queries.

You will provide customers with accurate information, and reliably maintain and update their policies. Above all, you'll be the friendly voice on the phone, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Shift details and requirements
  • You will be available to work a 5 day rotating roster Monday to Friday between 8am and 8pm and be available for occasional weekend work when rostered.

What will you bring to the role?

You are highly motivated, have a positive attitude, and are passionate about customer service. You have demonstrated experience working in a contact centre, and enjoy working in a fast paced, results driven environment. You may have also worked in a life insurance / financial services environment previously.

One of your strengths is your ability to build rapport and empathise with customers, and you have great communication skills. You are able to listen actively and ask the right questions as you support our customers.

Your attention to detail and ability to multi-task will also help you succeed, and if you have your RG146 qualification, that would be highly regarded.

About the role

Some responsibilities include;
  • Assisting in the build and launch of new products and features, ensuring that they are "market ready" at time of launch, including having complete documentation, product collateral and ongoing operational and support processes in place
  • Helping develop and implement the Go To Market plan for the product(s), working with and providing training to the Customer Management, Sales, Marketing, Legal and Finance teams
  • Helping develop and implement internal product support processes including SLAs
  • Improving our knowledge management base, researching and implementing preventative actions to common problems and questions
  • Maintaining each product throughout its development-to-retire life cycle

To be successful in this role you will have had experience in a BA or Junior Product Manager role previously. Ideally, you'll have project management skills including Agile experience, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You'll have knowledge of the Product development lifecycle, including Go To Market competencies.
