An opportunity exists for a Customer Service Officer to join our Sydney team with responsibilities in coordinating and overseeing the movement of international cargo both in and out of Australia to best service our customers.
The successful candidate will have proven industry operations knowledge & experience (minimum 3 years) including handling Australian Customs and DAFF freight issues. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, will be highly motivated and organised to ensure accuracy of all transactions and to achieve deadlines.

- Liaising with customers & shipping lines
- Providing quotations as required
- Meeting operational procedures for clients
- Proactively follow up on orders
- Accuracy and timeliness of invoicing
- Routing shipments
- Effective communication with customs, transport and warehouse departments
- Evaluate & implement SOPs
- Adherence to Australian Customs, Border Protection Services & DAFF rules & regulations
Desirable experience:
- Dangerous Goods accredited
- Regulated Air Cargo Agent accredited
- Quarantine accredited
- EDI - Enterprise Freight Forwarding Software
- ICS - Integrated Cargo System
