The Entertainment Media Group is an independent digital publisher specializing in the music and entertainment space.
We operate two digital products in Australia - The Music Network.com and Eventfinder.com.au
We are currently looking for an in-house mid-weight developer to assist with the ongoing operation and development of these two products.
Working directly with the General Manager, this role will require:
- Ongoing development & maintenance of existing platforms based on Ruby on Rails.
- Experience in ad server management including tagging and targeting implementation
- Liaising with two independent third part development teams working on current and upcoming products
- HTML e-mail coding experience
- Experience with secure payment gateways via paypal or bank merchant accounts
- PHP form building experience and understanding of integrations with CRM systems
- Design & development of custom executions for brand and/or advertising clients - wordpress / drupal experience necessary.
- Development of custom apps / executions utilizing REST API highly regarded.
This is not a project-based role - we are looking for a long-term in- house developer who can engage with our products and become and integral part of the ongoing development and day-to-day operation of our publishing business.
