The Schools Resourcing and Budgeting Directorate is seeking a talented, enthusiastic and team oriented individual to join our team and perform an integral role in the resourcing of public schools in Western Australia.
As the Resourcing Consultant (Schools and Students) you will play a key role in ensuring appropriate resource allocations are provided to all public schools in accordance with the funding allocation mechanism. To do so, you will be involved in developing and implementing resourcing models and programs and be part of a team that provides a highly valued support service to Western Australia’s public schools.
You will also assist in the development and implementation of relevant resourcing policies and strategies and participate in the ongoing identification and review of funding requirements.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
Sound understanding of the current policies and issues associated with resource allocation to Western Australian public schools and demonstrated ability to apply that understanding.
Highly developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and liaise effectively with individuals at all levels and in a range of contexts.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement programs and models that facilitate the effective and efficient transfer of funds to school sites.
Conceptual and analytical skills that demonstrate an ability to identify and clarify issues and problems and generate effective strategies to address them.
Demonstrated capacity in financial management and computing skills.
