Who are we looking for?
You will have previous experience in a Head Chef capacity leading and managing a busy team. You enjoy being creative, thinking outside the square and have experience with menu design and implementation.
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate?
- Previous experience managing a team of at least five in an A la Carte environment
- An ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly in a busy environment
- Creativity in your cooking style and experience with menu design & implementation
- Solid experience managing costs & keeping in line with budgetary requirements
- A solutions focused attitude
- Strong Food Safety Knowledge
Responsibilities will include:
- Hands-on management of the Kitchen
- Recruitment & on-boarding of new staff
- Training and developing your team
- Managing costs on a daily basis to ensure the efficient allocation of resources
- Menu planning, presentation & updates
- Kitchen safety and WHS responsibility
- Consistently delivering “blow away” menu items for all menus
