Glen Eira City Council has unique opportunities available at Glen Eira Sports & Aquatic Centre (GESAC). GESAC has been developed as a 'whole of community' facility which provides programs and services to improve community health and will feature state of the art aquatic, fitness, sports, rehabilitation, wellness, caf� and occasional care facilities.
Currently we are looking for direct service team members to provide high quality customer service as part of the reception team at GESAC. This role will be responsible for face to face interactions with customer, answering phone enquiries, responding to and resolving customer queries and to provide impeccable customer service from the frontline.
You will be customer focused and a good team player, with demonstrated customer service skills and the capacity to work in a team. We require good communication skills and the ability to diplomatically handle situations with our valued customers.
As a Customer Service Officer you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service focussed role in the leisure industry
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Flexibility to be able to work early mornings, evenings and weekends
- CPR Qualification
- Must maintain a current working with children check
- Must maintain a satisfactory police check
