
Due to continued company growth, we are seeking an experienced IT Trainer to join our global IT team.
Reporting to the IT Service Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and deploying training strategies, programs and materials for our IT services and applications. You will also deliver and evaluate training across the enterprise to ensure the maximum value is obtained from our services, applications and assets.
You will also be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with applicable Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable Acts and Regulations.
- Developing high quality e-learning and classroom based training courses, including business processes, using a blended learning approach.
- Developing high quality training materials for end-users including case-studies, training guides, exercises and reference documents.
- Delivering classroom (physical and virtual) based training.
- Creating training media in the form of video or other multi-media content.
- Assisting in roll outs of IT service and application updates by ensuring Users are trained and training materials are updated.
- Assisting in rolls out of software updates.
- Working with SME's to maintain user manuals for all business systems.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience/qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or IT.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training (preferred).
- At least 3 years in a similar role.
- Broad understanding of IT concepts and technologies.
- SAP experience advantageous.
- Experience with the development of e-learning (online).
- Experience developing and delivering training materials for IT services and operations, in particular SAP.
- High level skills in documentation development for both on-line and instructor-led training.
In addition, you will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into a format understood by non-technical Users.
