Working with one of Australia's largest providers of Aged and Community Care, this executive - and highly sought-after - role will see you operating as an integral part of the leadership team and based in Brisbane. As Director - Residential Aged Care, your role will see you responsible for numerous facilities across Brisbane and will integral to the organisation's growth, sustainability and achievement of strategic goals and objectives.
- Work collaboratively, promote the Organisation and foster relationships with all key stakeholders - internal and external.
- Making sure that the care and clinical standards are maintained in line with the Organisation's Mission and Values.
- The preparation and submission of budgets and forecasts and recommendations regarding policy development.
- Lead, direct, motivate and support a group of managers and their teams.
- Ensure that the financial performance of the Aged Care Division meets agreed expectations and objectives.
To be successful in this role, it is envisaged that you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications (preferably postgraduate qualification) in an appropriate discipline or equivalent formal studies in management.
- Demonstrated commitment to embracing and promoting the values of a not-for-profit organisation.
- Highly developed leadership and change management skills and a proven record of successful senior staff management at a senior level.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of organisational management at a senior level covering service operations and functional areas such as Finance and Administration, Human Resources, and Marketing.
- Advanced interpersonal, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in leading and influencing managers and staff to achieve a strong customer focus and quality improvement culture.
Proven experience and success within the Aged Care sector would be a distinct advantage. More importantly, your background in Health will have seen you be an entrepreneurial leader with a proven ability to develop processes and implement change in a complex and rapidly changing environment. Your previous role(s) will also have seen you excel in leading a team of people focused on quality outcomes, customer service and continuous improvement.
