Our Mining Division is one of Australia’s largest and most fully integrated underground coal mining services contractor with ground support, tunnelling and engineering services.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Maintenance Managers who will be responsible for site project engineering activities.
Accountabilities include but are not limited to;
- Plan, schedule, monitor, measure, record and report key engineering activities and resources, to meet contractual obligations consistent with the Project Plan and safety and quality requirements
- Ensure that the Project Maintenance Plan and work schedules incorporate and adequately address plant and equipment standards required by or stipulated in regulation, code, standard, OEM specification or any equipment specific requirement in order to comply with contractual obligations
- Manage all requirements of plant and equipment and identify, rectify, report and record any nonconforming work
- Manage costs of all repairs, maintenance and introduction of plant and equipment and report any variances to planned costs to the Project Manager
To be considered you will have hold a relevant engineering and electrical trade qualification coupled with a Statutory certification in underground coal (Mine Electrical Manager). Our ideal candidates will have extensive underground maintenance, resource planning, environmental monitoring and procurement experience. Roadheader/tunnelling experience advantageous. As a confident leader you will be also proficient with financial management and computerised maintenance systems.
