In Australia, AGA operates the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine and is developing the Tropicana Gold Mine in which it has a 70% interest and is manager. Independence Group NL holds the remaining 30%. The Sunrise Dam and Tropicana operations are both situated in WA.
We are now seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join our Legal, Commercial and Supply Chain team on a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth or Kalgoorlie.
Accountable to the Manager Supply, this role is responsible for the coordination and management of the site Warehouse function while delivering an efficient warehousing service to the mine site and to monitor inventories to ensure uninterrupted operations.
The main tasks of the role include:
- Oversee, monitor and develop Warehousing functions to achieve industry best practise
- Supervise Warehouse staff
- Assist in the management of Health & Safety in the supply section
- Inventory end of month procedures
- Reporting
- Ensure warehouse stock levels are maintained at appropriate level
- Issuing and receiving of inventory to and from the warehouse
- Provide SAP MM advice and training to site users
- Loading/unloading trucks when required
- Consult and work closely with providers of specialist supply services located offsite to ensure cost effective and timely delivery of supply
- Manage established inventory system to ensure data accuracy
- Ensure general housekeeping of warehouse
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3-4 years experience as a Warehouse Coordinator
- FIFO Mining Operations experience essential
- Ability to supervise and manage a team of Warehouse Officers
- Sound practical, planning and prioritising skills
- Exposure and solid understanding of SAP
- A strong work ethic
- Ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
- Forklift license
- Current WA Drivers Licence
- Ability to work FIFO, 8/6 roster
