About the Role
Carinity Aged Care has vacancies for Registered Nurses to join their team on a Casual basis at Carinity Aged Care - Karinya. The Registered Nurse is a key leader within the Residential Aged Care team, responsible for the provision of preventative, palliative and rehabilitative clinical care for the residents of the facility. The approach to care is holistic, taking into account the physical, social and spiritual needs of each resident.
Carinity Aged Care –Karinya is situated in Laidley, which is approximately a 1.5 hour drive west of Brisbane. Karinya is located in a convenient location close to shops, the hospital and other services. Karinya offers beds for both high and low care.

To be successful in this role, the following criteria should be met:
- Ability to work within the Christian ethos and framework of Carinity
- Relevant tertiary Qualification/s and/or Certificates in Nursing or Aged Care
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated clinical skills and recent experience within Aged Care
- Understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Process preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of Aged Care documentation requirements with ability to conduct ACFI assessments highly regarded
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead and train subordinate staff
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current National Criminal History Record Check or willingness to obtain
