Macmahon is contracted by BHP Billiton to operate the Orebody 18 iron ore mine and the adjacent Wheelarra deposit. Macmahon employs about 400 people across the two sites, which are operated in conjunction by a single management team.
We currently have an urgent requirement for EXPERIENCED Fixed Plant Operators to join the Orebody 18/ Wheelarra project. These positions are FIFO 2:1 roster from Perth.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience:
- Previous experience with the operation and running of large Crushers.
- Exposure to a Citec operating system would be an advantage.
- Previous experience with Train Loadout systems.
- A mechanical background or be mechanically minded would be an advantage.
- Hold a current Confined Space or Working at Heights ticket.
- Be physically fit.
- Inspect plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- AND hold a current HR Drivers Licence and Trade Certificate.
