The opportunity
The role will be responsible for the day to day receipting and issuing of critical materials and equipment, housekeeping and safe operation of our Smithfield warehouse.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Receiving, storing, issuing, and distribution of materials.
- Driver Delivery,
- Ensure prompt receipting and picking and packing of materials.
- Ensure other relevant parts for the effective operation of Zinfra depot activities.
- Provide assistance of stores and non store items when required.
This opportunity will suit someone who has sound warehousing and stores experience, good attention to detail.
Who you are
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills, education and experience:
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- Experience in a store or warehouse operation, including the exposure and use of Computerised Warehouse Management Systems.
- Forklift license
- Effective communication skills using a variety of tools including telephone and e-mail.
- Proven record of manual handling and handling hazardous materials training,
- Clear personal communication to effectively provide directions and information to staff, couriers, suppliers etc
- Attention to detail, self starter, motivated.
Preferred but not essential skills for this role.
- Class MR Licence.
- White Card
- Dogging and Slinging certified
- Gantry crane certified
- Dangerous goods certificate
