Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing current IT Governance arrangements and providing a best practice framework. Some of the areas to focus on (but not limited to) are IT Projects, procurements, vendor management, IT Sourcing and risk management
- Provide recommendations to ensure an appropriate IT Risk Management framework can be implemented and develop a strategy for ensuring the practice of risk management is integrated into the daily processes and procedures of IT
- Provide a framework for measuring and reporting on quality assurance and value realisation of projects
- There will be considerable contact with internal staff, external specialists and other organisations.
To be effective in this role you must have:
- Graduate qualifications relevant to the Bank or IT industry
- Experience in designing frameworks as described above
- Extensive experience in the development control and reporting frameworks for IT Governance and Risk Management
- A record of effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the IT area of a significant organisation
- Managerial experience in implementing Governance and Risk Management disciplines.
- A strong working knowledge of best practice IT Governance and Risk Management frameworks

- Communicate effectively when speaking with individuals and groups and to be persuasive and influential in presentations and meetings
- Develop new concepts and approaches for the Bank requiring considerable investigation and evaluation Review key processes to achieve continuous improvement and the innovation of products and services
