BDA is now recruiting for the position of Systems Engineer based in Brisbane CBD (12 months temporary).
As the Systems Engineer you will support the transition of the new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool; through investigation of the current set of engineering-related processes, planning release of features for the new PLM tool and conducting testing of such features as they come to fruition.
You will also support BDA project execution and business development through direct support of activities (including software development and release processes) or through functional oversight, independent reviews or functional assistance in the areas of systems and software engineering.
This role involves the following key responsibilities:
- Investigating and understanding the current engineering-related PLM processes
- Creating a Feature Release Plan for Process Transition of programs to the new PLM tool
- Conducting System Testing as Features are implemented to confirm suitability for release
- Performing engineering activities including design development and engineering investigation
- Supporting Engineering Function initiatives as required
BDA requires all applicants to be able to demonstrate the following essential qualifications:
- Tertiary degree qualification in relevant technical discipline
- Ability to obtain RPEQ status
- Ability to identify, establish and promote engineering process improvements within an organisational element and at an organisational level
- Knowledge of, and experience in executing, engineering processes using PLM tools
