With huge growth plans on the horizon, our Finance team are now looking to appoint an Accounts Payable Clerk.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, your will ensure accurate and efficient processing of accounting processes as well as provide efficient clerical support to the Financial Control department.
The accountabilities of this role include the following and more:
- Ensure General Ledger coding is correct or provide coding if not supplied.
- Ensure Tax Invoice is compliant with Goods and Services Tax (GST) legislation.
- Enter duly authorised and coded invoice into Navision accounting package.
- Reconcile and validate invoices with payments (e.g. EFT, Cheque and BPAY).
- Create EFT, BPAY or cheque payment through Navision accounting package to pay suppliers.
- Updating vendor master data files.
- Corporate credit card claims.
- Reconcile invoices with monthly statement as provided by supplier.
- Liaise with supplier / staff to reconcile any discrepancies or queries.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
To be successful, you will have completed Year 12, with strong mathematic skills as well as accounts payable experience.
Relevant accounting qualifications would be desirable however not mandatory.
