We are seeking to bring on board an enthusiastic person with a range of experience relevant to community-based job services, to help deliver our integrated job search training program to young people with diverse needs.
About The Role...
The Employment Consultant will provide a range of services aimed at assisting young people to gain employment that fits with their individual needs and abilities. Managing your own case load of streams 1 to 4 clients, you will be assessing vocational and non vocational barriers to employment. You will also develop plans to help our clients achieve their goals and support them as they move into sustainable employment.
Working closely with your busy, bubbly and sociable team, you will support each other as you strive to attract potential employers and vacancies, create opportunities for our clients, and contribute to the success of BoysTown's ever-expanding employment services.
This is a stimulating and rewarding role that will provide the successful applicant with both a challenge and variety.
What We Are Looking For...
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, energetic and genuinely enjoys working in a team. You will be able to build strong rapport with a range of people and use your outstanding communication skills to influence and motivate clients and employers alike. You will enjoy generating new ideas and working flexibly to achieve your targets. Your strong time management and administration skills will help you to achieve your KPIs as you strive to think 'outside the square' and problem-solve to gain results. Previous experience working within employment services and case management would be advantageous. A drivers licence is not immediately required but would be preferable.
Above all, a passion for working with young people to help them positively change their lives is essential.
