Manager Finance and Administration (Clerk Grade 9/10)

- Location - Stockton Centre, located in Stockton a suburb of Newcastle NSW
- $111026 total remuneration package includes salary ranging from $91303 - $100613 pa, employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Hunter Residences is a large supported accommodation service for people who have an intellectual disability comprising of four sites: Stockton Centre, Stockton; Kanangra Centre, Morisset; Casuarina Grove, Hamlyn Terrace; and Tomaree Centre, Shoal Bay.
Manage a range of general finance, asset and administrative services and provide senior management with financial performance advice, data, statistics, assessments and other information to ensure effective utilisation of resources and service delivery.

Selection criteria

- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience, with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing tools and processes to identify, analyse and facilitate improvements to business systems, processes and workflows aligned with the overall business unit requirements and the organisation's operational plans.
- Demonstrated experience in the education of staff, including staff from non financial backgrounds in budget and finance matters related to their role and responsibility.
- Demonstrated capacity to ensure activities are aligned to the Public Finance and Audit Act, Treasurer's Directions and State Government fiscal operating processes and accounting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to review business unit strategies to enable ADHC to deliver services in a cost effective manner.
- Demonstrated high level provision of advice, support and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer on financial performance and business systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to actively manage employment equity and diversity, occupational heal and safety (OHS), risk management and ethical practices.
- Demonstrated ability to actively support and supervise, advise and coach team members.
