Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor of Management (Strategy/Leadership), Ref 016N3
Selection Criteria
Senior Lecturer (Level C)
Essential criteria:
- Relevant doctoral degree;
- Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching at postgraduate level;
- Proven record of ongoing research and publication;
- Record of successful supervision of postgraduate research students;
- Relevant industry experience;
- Evidence of involvement in institution building and administrative activities and
- A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and the community.
Desirable criteria:
- Demonstrated excellence in developing and delivering innovative management programs to postgraduate and executive audiences;
- Evidence of attracting research grants and industry support and;
- Experience in high quality interactive distance learning.
Associate Professor – Level D
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant doctoral degree;
- Significant record in research and a substantial publication record;
- Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching at postgraduate level in the identified management areas on MBA and executive programs;
- Record of successful supervision of postgraduate research students up to and including doctoral level;
- Relevant industry experience;
- Evidence of a leadership role in their field nationally and/or internationally;
- Demonstrated interest in management education;
- A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and the community.
- Vision and experience which complement the current strengths in the School.
Desirable Criteria:
- Demonstrated excellence in developing and delivering innovative management programs to postgraduate and executive audiences;
- Evidence of attracting research grants and industry support;
- Experience in industry and high level consulting;
- Experience in high quality interactive distance learning.
Appointment Terms: Full-time, continuing

Package: Senior Lecturer (Level C base salary) - $98,827 to $113,844 p.a, Associate Professor (Level D base salary) - $118,847 to $130,860 p.a, plus 17% employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading. Performance based loadings may be available for suitable candidates.
