One of Council's key divisions, Brisbane Transport, is the leading transport provider to the Brisbane community. We currently run a fleet of more than 1200 buses. These vehicles need to be kept in excellent working order, to preserve Brisbane's natural environment, plan for our future, improve public transport and minimise traffic congestion.
We regularly seek Heavy Vehicle Mechanics and Auto Electricians to provide expertise in fulfilling our transport commitment to Brisbane. We are also interested in hearing from qualified Light Vehicle Mechanics who would like to upskill to heavy vehicles - we'll provide full training. Third and fourth year apprentices (heavy vehicle) wanting to complete their training with Council are to invited to apply.
