The Organisational Services Division of Brisbane City Council is responsible for centre led market research functions. Our in-house team leads and manages tracking studies, oversees customised research and conducts desktop research similar to work conducted by market research agencies. We partner with our Corporate Communications branch to undertake communication evaluation and support brand management activities.
The primary purpose of this role is to evaluate the effectiveness of communication and service delivery activities across Council. Specific emphasis is on the effectiveness of communication campaigns. This role will work in close partnership with Council divisions, allowing business units to deliver significant outcomes for the city.

You will have demonstrated:
- ability to design, conduct and assess evaluation and market research
- ability to prepare reports using market research, analysis, evaluation and findings
- experience in recommending effective courses of action
- high level of measurement, evaluation and analytical skills and knowledge of statistical techniques and methodologies
- excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability to present findings, build relationships and liaise with a range of audiences and stakeholders
- ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
A tertiary qualification in social sciences, business or marketing and communication would be highly regarded.
