We have an exciting opportunity as a Securities Officer within our Lending Support team based either in our Sydney or Brisbane Hub. You will be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing loan applications, variations, requests and reconciliation within CUA’s lending framework and the professional support of all lending activities enabling CUA to lend safely and in a way that generates agreed performance outcomes for all partners.
To perform the position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following:
- 5 years experience in the Financial Services Industry
- 5 years experience within consumer and housing lending environments
- Demonstrates an overall leading attitude and knowledge of validation, documentation, funding and/or consents or across multiple lending support processes
- Demonstrated high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Exposure to commercial lending environments
- Strong knowledge of lending standards
- Knowledge of relevant finance industry standards, acts, codes and legislation (eg. Consumer Credit Code, Code of Practice, Privacy Act, Trade Practices Act, Financial Services Reform Act)
- Exposure to lending or conveyance/settlement environment
- Experience in reading and interpreting property and related searches/contracts
- Experience in validating, documenting, funding, settlement, release and/or service of loans
