Our client:
Our client is an Australian owned and managed earth moving and civil engineering company with a principal focus on mining services and support in Western Australia. Due to expansion, they require an experienced Project Manager. This is a FIFO role (Flexibility on rosters 2 & 1 or 3 & 1). Based in Perth and Kimberly offices, you will report to the General Manager - Commercial and Operations.
The role:
Your key duty is be responsible for overseeing a number of projects developments specifically in the civil engineering market. You will be responsible for Managing projects as on day-to-day basis in accordance with the Operations Managers requirements; attend "day works" estimations, quotations and manage delivery of "day works" to expectations of company requirements :
- Complete understanding of all contractual matters as the relate to operational delivery; ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining appropriate level of client relationship
- Contractual performance compliance - maintain measured customer service delivery standards
- All projects and day works delivered in full, on time and within client and company expectations
- Manage project resources appropriately and assign allocation; ensure all 'running' requirements fulfilled. Manage assignment of individual responsibilities and delegations into the project servicescape
- Delivering all services and programs within Site budget and according to established targets and plans.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
