A Systems Programmer with a solid background in Networks and Hosting, you will diagnose and resolve issues using your knowledge and experience in the following:
- Hosted Network environments and solutions
- SSO/Network Services
- WAN Optimization
- Telecommunication Service Offerings
- Protocols; SDLC, SSH, OSPF, SSL/TLS, AT-TLS, Ethernet, Token Ring, APPC, ASCH
- Netview Access Services, Session Manager
- Spyware and Performance Management; NetSpy, NPM, Omegamon
- SNA, TCP/IP
You will be joining a highly skilled team within the busy Managed Services division of a global IT service provider.
Your duties will be varied, they will include but not be limited to:
- Installations, maintenance, configurations and admin of network software and hardware
- Documentation of issues and problem resolution
- Mainframe SNA & TCP/IP consulting, capacity management, support
- Consulting to internal and external customers
- Security compliance
