We are seeking an experienced academic to join our Department of Community Health Development in the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences.
Our department offers the Master of Public Health, and at undergraduate level, the Bachelor of Health Science in Health Promotion, and the Graduate Diploma in Addictions. We are committed to a social determinants approach to research, teaching and practice in community health development.
The preferred applicant will have a PhD, strong research experience and some teaching experience at postgraduate level. They will have clear potential to make a significant contribution to our academic programme development, emerging research capacity and to fostering links with relevant community health agencies. Experience as a public health/social epidemiology practitioner is an advantage.
We are interested in candidates from a public health background, who must have expertise in social epidemiology. Experience in environmental health and community development is desirable.
