Jobs in New Zealand (NZ): Lecturer in Psychology at AUT University

The Faculty of Applied Humanities within AUT University is growing and vibrant, offering programmes from pre-degree to PhD level, across multiple discipline areas.

With the continued increase in students in our BA Psychology major we are seeking a permanent full-time lecturer to provide teaching and undertake research as part of a team of Psychology lecturers in the Department of Social Sciences.

The appointee will assume responsibility for the co-ordination, delivery and tutoring of psychology papers offered by the Department of Social Sciences. They will be expected to teach across a broad range of areas of psychology, likely to include research methodology, quantitative data analysis, social, developmental, and cognitive psychology.

Applicants must have a completed PhD in Psychology, successful tertiary teaching experience, and be active researchers. Research in the area of social cognition will be an advantage.
