The role
Due to expansion, the Planning and Environment team require a specialist planning lawyer. You will have a high level of autonomy and be required to perform your own appearances including minor contested hearings. An element of mentoring will also be involved due to the expanding nature of this highly specialised team.
The applicant
Ideally you will have at least 5 years PAE in planning and environment law and have the desire to now specialise in the planning aspect. Your ability to interpret various planning instruments and legislation is essential in the performance of this role. A proven ability to prepare highly complex court documents and attend hearings will be highly regarded as will the willingness to mentor junior staff.
