Part Time Casual Teacher of Information Technology including specialisation in the following areas:

• Website Development
• Networking/Hardware Support
• Multimedia
• Systems Administration/Systems Support
• Programming/Application Development

Applicants MUST obtain an information package which contains complete selection criteria, mandatory forms and other information relevant to the position.

Selection Criteria

• A Degree or Diploma or equivalent in Information Technology or Information Technology related discipline (s). The vocational competencies must be at least at the level of the competencies being delivered and/or assessed.
• Three years (post degree), or equivalent, relevant and current experience in the industry or community sector gained no longer than five years previously. This must be directly relevant to the training/assessment being undertaken.
• Hold the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from the TAE10 Training and Assessment Training Package or be able to demonstrate equivalence of competencies. NOTE: In rare and exceptional circumstances the Director TAFE Services, Faculty may agree to consider applicants who do not currently meet this requirement.
• Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
• High level written and oral communication skills in English and Proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments.
• Commitment and ability to facilitate learning in an adult environment and demonstrated organisational skills applicable to an educational setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service and demonstrated ability to contribute in a team environment.
• Proven strengths in problem solving and change management.
