We currently have a vacancy for a Gas Utilisation Inspector to join our Gas Inspection team based in Jandakot.
You will be responsible for undertaking investigations and inspections on industrial, commercial and domestic installations in line with the Gas Inspection program to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and gas installation standards.
Skills and experience required:
- G Class Gas Fitting Permit, I Class Gas fitting Permit coupled with Energy Safety designation as Inspector (Gas) certification.
- Certificate IV in Government Statutory Investigation & Enforcement.
- Considerable technical knowledge of gas industry regulations coupled with significant experience in industrial, commercial and domestic gas appliance testing.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good computer skills including the ability to utilise a range of information systems (MS Office & SAP desirable).
- Well-developed communication skills (oral and written) including the ability to influence and build and maintain networks with a range of stakeholders.
- C Class Drivers Licence.
