Transfield Worley is seeking a qualified and experienced Engineering Data Coordinator to join our INPEX Integrity & Maintenance Team based in Perth CBD. The role will act as the engineering data focal point for delivery into a world class Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The CMMS will govern the offshore and onshore assets. The main duties of this position include:
- Review of technical data management plans, procedures and Configuration Management strategy.
- Overall management of Data Configuration, including version control
- Focal point for the Engineering Data to ensure consistency of the data from the Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW) and other sources
- Ensuring data integrity is maintained through change management.
- Performing Configuration Management activities including: Generating, maintaining and updating the configuration managed baselines.
- Responsible for co-ordinating, capturing, cleaning, transferring and progressing data between sites. Including, ensuring revision control of all data is maintained between the various delivery centres.
- Provide training to project personnel for configuration management.
- Supporting the Engineering Data Integrity & Systems Manager as required.
Reporting to the Engineering Data Integrity & Systems Manager, this role will offer a long-term career opportunity. To be considered for this position, a broad range of IT is essential for this role and in addition you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Solid experience in Data Co-ordination/ Configuration Management
- Sound understanding of SAP PM/MM in large scale implementations.
- The ability to manage and process large volumes of Data, utilising such tools as Excel, Access, Pivot Tables, Excel Macros, etc.
- As the engineering data focal point you will have well developed interpersonal skills and be focused on building/maintaining internal and external relationships.
- Applicants with green field projects, site experience utilising SAP PM/MM and/or Configuration
- Leadership ability & oil & gas/petrochemical industry experience will be highly regarded.
