Due to a secondment within our team, we require a professional Systems Support Analyst (2nd Level) for a six month contract. Your responsibilities in the role are:
- Provide 2nd level support for Origin's systems
- Coordinate internal IT resources and vendor resources in the delivery of Information Systems solutions
- Ensure that application software is maintained in a well documented manner
- Monitor performance of applications including response times and machine capacity and recommend improvements to ensure the reliability of the application
- Liaise with external software vendors (3rd level support) and Origin infrastructure staff to resolve system problems
- Consult with and provide technical expertise on information systems to other departments
- Suggest improvements to PMO and Service Management procedures and IT standards
- Perform work within budget and schedule guidelines
To be considered for the role you must have the following:
- 5+ years experience in IT with excellent service support skills
- Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and SQL Server
- Microsoft operating systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow process with an eye for detail
- Team player with a can-do attitude
