Due to a secondment within our team, we require a professional Systems Support Analyst (2nd Level) for a six month contract. Your responsibilities in the role are:

  • Provide 2nd level support for Origin's systems
  • Coordinate internal IT resources and vendor resources in the delivery of Information Systems solutions
  • Ensure that application software is maintained in a well documented manner
  • Monitor performance of applications including response times and machine capacity and recommend improvements to ensure the reliability of the application
  • Liaise with external software vendors (3rd level support) and Origin infrastructure staff to resolve system problems
  • Consult with and provide technical expertise on information systems to other departments
  • Suggest improvements to PMO and Service Management procedures and IT standards
  • Perform work within budget and schedule guidelines

To be considered for the role you must have the following:

  • 5+ years experience in IT with excellent service support skills
  • Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and SQL Server
  • Microsoft operating systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow process with an eye for detail
  • Team player with a can-do attitude
