THE ROLE
This position is an integral part of the National IT team, reporting to the Group IT Team Leader and is located in the Midlands area of Perth. The IT Administrator will be involved in customer support, troubleshooting, hardware procurement and deployment, server monitoring and management, and some project execution.
Your main responsibilities will be to act as the escalated point of contact for IT hardware and software troubleshooting issues. These incidents will be handled through face-to-face, remote access and phone based support. The role will be primarily desktop focused with the ability to develop server skills through project work. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring younger staff both locally and across the national team to ensure all issues are resolved quickly and permanently.

YOU NEED TO HAVE
Interested candidates need to offer recognised technical qualifications and a minimum of five years in a similar role within a large organization. Specifically, you would need advanced technical knowledge of current systems software including Windows 7, MS Server 2008 Active Directory, MS Exchange 2007, Citrix, and intermediate to advanced skills in MS SQL 2008 and SAN Technology. A strong communications and networking background, project management responsibility and experience working with a vendor would make you an ideal candidate.
