Origin's Workplace Delivery team are responsible for managing in a cost effective manner the safe, secure, efficient and environmentally appropriate maintenance and security of major office facility assets within the corporate environment of Origin's major CBD buildings.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a customer service focused individual to join this growing team in Brisbane. Reporting to the Building and Security Manager, you will be responsible for daily repairs and maintenance coordination, and trade contractor management at all major office locations.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Undertaking induction of trade contractors working within Origin premises
- Performing risk assessments for all trade contractor activities, ensuring all tasks are performed to the highest safety standards
- Coordination of building shutdowns and outages with building manager and internal stakeholders
- Internal communication with senior stakeholders for building related outages and failures when they occur, planned and unplanned
- Involvement in preventative maintenance programs and emergency response plans
- Maintaining external building management relationships
- Coordination and management of service requests assigned to Workplace Delivery
- Health Safety and Environment Responsibilities
- Response to building faults and shutdowns as required, 24/7.
You will have experience in a service delivery role with some facilities and OH&S exposure. Your strong communication and negotiation skills will see you successfully build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You are a team focused individual with an ability to undertake routine duties with enthusiasm, diligence and application.
