With huge growth plans on the horizon, our Contracts and Procurement team is now looking to appoint a Stores & Logistics Supervisor based in Moranbah.
Reporting to the Warehouse Superintendent your role is to manage the material management requirements, procurement, warehousing, inventory management and distribution of all materials for the operation and to maintain the integrity of the asset site stores.
The accountabilities include the following and more:
- Manage the logistics of the materials movements and receipt of all materials within the asset.
- Manage the inventory and stock-take to ensure efficient provision of stock while minimising working capital.
- Maintain & improve the security & orderliness of the stores.
- Manage the competitive quotation and purchase orders process for localised purchasing.
- Process invoice and reports for the Brisbane office.
To be considered for this opportunity it is essential you have a Forklift license, First Aid Certificate, and demonstrated experience within a similar role with experience with accounts/inventory software packages. A tertiary qualification in purchasing and materials management is desirable. Experience in or exposure to the resources industry will be highly regarded but not essential.
