A fantastic opportunity has become available for a highly motivated customer service professional to join our North Sydney based Tele Underwriting team. In this diverse role you will be responsible for assisting clients with the Tele-underwriting process, providing cost effective service to advisers and client and assisting financial advisors with their telephone queries.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Oversee the appropriate documentation in new life insurance applications
- Maintain database information; compile and distribute relevant reports
- Professionally manage the relationship between Zurich and its advisors
- Assist the Team Leader in complaint resolution
- Administer cases and handle enquiries within service time standards
- Assist the Underwriting Manager with daily projects on an ad hoc basis

Requirements of the role include:
- minimum HSC (or equivalent); tertiary qualifications viewed favourably
- superior written and verbal communication skills, professionalism and strong interpersonal skills including the ability to show empathy when dealing with sensitive personal information.
- proficiency in computer and keyboard skills.
