The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting the Parliamentary Librarian to provide library services for the Australian Parliament, and be a key member of the Department’s senior management team.
The successful applicant will have a track record as an accomplished leader and manager of a professional team, who can:

The successful applicant will have skills and qualifications to allow the Presiding Officers to satisfy themselves that:
the person has either or both of the following:
- professional qualifications in librarianship or information management (however described);
- professional membership of a recognised professional association in the discipline of librarianship or information management (however described); or
the Presiding Officers are satisfied that, by reason of the person’s qualifications in another relevant discipline, or the person’s professional experience, the person has suitable skills to perform the functions of Parliamentary Librarian.
