Eligibility to Apply: Preference for appointment will be given to Australian Permanent Residents.

Other Conditions: Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "identical" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from the start date of the first applicant appointed.

Position Profile: South Metropolitan Area Health Service (SMAHS) are seeking a professional applicant who will lead and facilitate clinical and other project teams in the strategic, clinical service and facility planning processes associated with hospitals within SMAHS and the wider health reform network of the Department.

Area Profile: The South Metropolitan Area Health Service (SMAHS) is the fastest growing health service in Western Australia. SMAHS oversees comprehensive tertiary, secondary and primary-level health care services across 16 local government regions. The service is undergoing dynamic growth, including the planning and building of the State's leading tertiary facility, the 600-bed Fiona Stanley Hospital in Murdoch and the upgrade to General Hospital status of Rockingham/Kwinana District Hospital and Armadale-Kelmscott Memorial Hospital.
