The Position

We have an opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join our practice in our new office on the Gold Coast.

Core duties and responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing high level secretarial support;
  • Assisting with drafting basic documents and responses to correspondence;
  • Preparation of various documentation;
  • Regular client contact and client relationship management;
  • Assisting with front desk reception; and
  • General administrative duties such as diary and file management eg. filing, bring ups, opening and archiving files.

The Person

The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • Typing speed of 60-80+ WPM with a high level of accuracy;
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a mature and professional approach at all times;
  • Experience using dictation and typing from handwritten instructions; and
  • Strong time management and organisational skills together with the capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously.
