Their Client is a ASX listed business who manufactures and supplies building materials to a vast array of different businesses throughout Australia. They seek an energetic and enthusiastic professional to join their team in a critical position to invoke stability within their finance structure.
This position will assist the rebate function for the group. Currently rebates consequently have a significant impact on their gross margin. This function requires well developed skills in accounting, business analysis, and process improvement. This position will assist the finance team with interpretation and analysis of customer agreements ensuring the integrity of financial information.
Key Responsibilities will be to build relationships and collaborate with business partners to ensure the integrity of financial information, interpret customer contracts to establish and issue rebate payments, ensure all rebate calculations and required activity are completed accurately. You will also process payments to customers for assigned rebates, perform monthly reconciliation by assigned customer accounts, assist the sales team with monthly P&L analysis and implement process improvements to assist with system enhancements and enhance current processes and conduct rebates analysis by using internal systems to extract data.
To be successful you will have excellent inter-personal, excel and communication skills. You will be degree qualified and on your way to either a CA or CPA qualification. Have previous experience within a listed organisation and be able to communicate across all levels.
