One of my government clients located in the Hurstville area is looking to source an experienced workforce planning officer. They are located close to public transport and have on street parking available.

This is a diverse position and requires a person who shows initiative is willing to hit the ground running.

Some of your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Review and analyse key structure and restructure proposals
  • The implementation of staffing strategies
  • Prepare evaluation reports and recommendations
  • Prepare high level briefing notes, reports and other written material
  • Maintain records management and HR information
  • Participate in leads projects arising from organisational priorities
  • Implement OH&S policies and principals

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • An understanding of all workforce planning processes
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of the public sector and its processes is highly regarded but not essential
  • Solid negotiation, organisational and presentation skills
  • And the ability to commit to over night travel if required
