We are seeking a professional librarian with relevant experience to manage the library service’s nationally distributed collection including the centralised warehouse, and cataloguing, indexing, abstracting, acquisition of library materials, and data quality management.
The successful applicant will possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills. Further, they will use their strategic thinking, innovation and planning skills to continue improving library services in Defence.
You will need to possess well developed communication and interpersonal skills, be flexible, show initiative, be customer focused, have an eye for detail, and able to solve problems.
This is a security assessed position and the successful applicant will need to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Negative Vetting 1 level.
