The Opportunity:
CUA has embarked on a challenging strategy of growth and transformation. In order to support this growth, a new role has been created to provide tax strategy, tax advice and tax compliance for the CUA businesses. The role will manage and take responsibility for the production of accurate, timely and reliable tax information and advice.
A key objective of the role is to manage engagement with external advisors, regulatory authorities and the CUA executive. The role will also be responsible for the ongoing development and enhancement of the Tax Risk Management framework at CUA, being responsible for the documentation of tax policy and process.
In order to be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- 7 to 10 years in tax consulting, preferably with experience within a large corporate environment
- Strategic thinking and ability to identify commercial consequences from complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated commercial acumen
- Strong ability to build effective relationships
- High level of technical skill and practical exposure to a broad range off direct and indirect
