Job Description

The Production Technician will be responsible for all operational duties, the safe operation and optimisation of all field assets and equipment on the Curtis Island LNG Facility near Gladstone

Ensure the safe operation and optimisation of all field assets and equipment at the Curtis Island LNG Facility in this complex role. You will coordinate and prepare equipment for maintenance and authorization of permits according to your role in Permit to Work procedures within a designated area.

Requirements

To be successful you should have significant experience in the operations of a LNG, gas processing, complex hydrocarbon facility, or similar experience gained on a ‘Major Hazardous Facility’.

Qualifications such as Certificate III or IV in ESI Generation, Boiler and Open Turbine Operators’ Certificates, electrical or mechanical trade background and confined space and working at heights accreditation would be highly regarded. Ideally, you’ll also have experience in at least one of the following environments: Complex Processing, Major Hazard Facilities, Shiploading, Central Control Room or Cryogenics.

This role is based on Curtis Island, relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

Our Commercial Services department has a vacancy for a Meter Reading Administration Officer to join our team based in Perth.

You will be Responsible for contributing to the effective management of retailer accounts through the monitoring and maintenance of Basic Meter readings, connections and disconnections within the Network Management Information System (NMIS). This includes undertaking data analysis and validating scheduled and non-scheduled meter readings undertaken by the meter reading services provider.

Skills and experience required:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for quality and a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills including the ability to utilise a range of information systems (NMIS; GIS; MS Office Suite & SAP is desirable).
  • Highly organised with proven time management skills to effectively deliver multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and deliver excellent customer service.

Your role will provide Instrument & Controls engineering expertise to LNG Developments and to the various business units supported by LNG Developments.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting in the preparation of work scopes and contractor management;
  • Compilation of BoD documentation;
  • Reviewing documentation produced by BoD Contractors;
  • Reviewing documentation produced by FEED Contractors;
  • Reviewing/supporting project execution activities;
  • Supporting operational assets;
  • Providing input into selection/development of standards and guidelines to be applied across Woodside's LNG Developments, including incorporation of lessons learnt;
  • Contributing to the overall LNG Development team activities and management;
  • Ensuring 'designed - in safety' is integrated when delivering solutions for business units;
  • Assisting in the development, communication and instruction of safe work procedures, and designed in safety across work area, contractors and suppliers.

To be successful in the role you will be tertiary qualified and have a minimum of 5 years Instrument & Controls engineering experience in the oil and gas industry. Experience in all stages of the project life cycle is desirable but not essential. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to engage with other disciplines.

Under the direction of the Financial Services Accountant, the Assistant Accountant is responsible for data input into the accounting and banking systems to facilitate accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, generation of monthly management reports, cash management, banking, funds transfers and reconciliation of various general ledger accounts and cash advances. The Assistant Accountant also provides general administration support as required.
