Supply Chain provides support (systems and resources) to producing assets, major / minor projects and exploration drilling campaigns.
Air logistics specifically deals with the provision of fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft, including passenger tracking, cost reporting, statutory governance, contract management, cyclone coordination and development of standards. Primarily, the safe and expeditious movement of people and goods by air. Offshore helicopter operations need to be managed to the highest standards in a fast paced environment. It is a high risk industry and Aviation Operations holds the responsibility for mitigating the risks and providing quality Aviation Services.
As the Aviation Operations Team Leader your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Woodside Aviation Operations team and delivery of quality offshore aviation services for Woodside. The focus is on service delivery through the management of Aviation contracts delivering industry best practice in Aviation Operations.
- Being responsible for operational performance, aviation preparedness and response for emergencies, contract management, internal customer engagement, operational plans, developing and delivering to budget, and solid relationship management.
- Ensuring standardisation and compliance, delivery of service standards as well as building and maintaining relationships with industry counterparts and key stakeholders.
- Ensuring that there is system, process and procedural control of Aviation Operations and company travel to mitigate operational and H&S risk associated with air travel.
- Technical compliance is delivered through the aviation assurance function, however there is a strong liaison between this position to ensure safe operations are systematidcally managed, both directly for each Hub and through the various contractor interfaces.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the Aviation Industry including at least 2 years in an Offshore Oil and Gas environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Aviation or a related discipline preferred
- Have thorough knowledge of the Aviation Industry and its processes
- Formal HS qualifications preferred
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Proven leadership. Able to lead and manage small teams in a dynamic environment
- Able to represent Woodside's Aviation Interests to key stakeholders without supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
- Highly developed organisational skills
