THE COMPANY:
My well known client sets the standards in Quick Service Restaurants internationally, and is very well known and respected.

An opportunity exists to work as the leader of a strong team in the North QLD region.

The businesses we are recruiting for are operated my a multiple franchise owner who has been running these stores for over 15 years and is dedicated to the training and development of his employees.

As a manager for one of these businesses, you would be responsible for running all aspects of the restaurant. A large part of this role would be the ongoing training of junior staff and making sure standards are kept up to the expectations.

THE ROLE:

The role is a RESTAURANT MANAGER position, and we are seeking someone who has also had a lot of experience within Quick service restaurants (for example, McDonald's). As previously mentioned, you would be directly responsible for looking after all aspects of the venue including come financials, ensuring the smooth running of all operations of the restaurant and general staff management.

As the manager, you would directly report to the owners of the venue, who proudly own multiple franchises in this global fast food giant.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in a managerial role, within a similar environment
  • Exposure to financials could be an advantage
  • A good "people manager" is what we are seeking
  • Exceptional customer service focus is a must

Head of Programs – Midwifery:

The School of Nursing and Midwifery at CQUniversity is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified academic to lead and work within a progressive midwifery team and to enhance opportunities for development and growth in new programs in midwifery. The appointee/s will be Registered midwives, have current teaching and practice experience and have a track record in research and publication. Knowledge of current trends in midwifery education, curriculum development, and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMC) accreditation standards and processes will be necessary to assist the School of Nursing & Midwifery to strengthen and promote current teaching and development of programs in midwifery.

Completion or near completion of a PhD in midwifery or a related discipline is essential for the Head of Programs position.

Lecturer – Midwifery:

The School is also seeking a midwifery lecturer to join our energetic, forward thinking team to deliver the midwifery program to students through face-to-face and interactive online learning and teaching methods. Clinical placements range from remote/rural to tertiary settings across all types of midwifery care. Duties will include, but are not limited to, course convening, planning and implementing, assessment, teaching in face-to-face workshops, and the laboratory, online and in the clinical setting. The successful applicant will need to travel to other campuses and to clinical and non-clinical sites.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for making sure goods and or services are delivered on time, this position will be to support the service exchange business and will involve day to day liaison with suppliers.

Other Duties will include

  • Liaise with the service exchange coordinator to make sure all parts are readily available for upcoming works.
  • Liaise with the warehouse manager and his team regarding the goods received and back orders.
  • Keeping all jobs up to date with any changes that may occur, making sure all internal job sheets are correct and have all the relevant information.
  • Expediting all outstanding orders on a weekly basis and updating all relevant work sheets.
  • Respect the need for a safe working environment for yourself and all others in the workplace by complying and respect company safety policies.

YOUR PROFILE

  • The successful candidate will have relevant experience in a purchasing role.
  • The successful candidate will have the ability work as part of an integrated, broad team.
  • You will need to have highly developed time management and organisation skills; be computer literate and have the drive and determination to achieve goals and targets set for customer satisfaction.
  • Due the nature and the importance of this function within the company, the position will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.
