Blackwoods Mackay is seeking an experienced Sales Person who is passionate about results and motivated by targets, to join them as an Account Manager.
Day to day, you will be responsible for conducting site visits with your diverse customer portfolio based within the Mackay region. You will also utilise each visit to effectively build business relationships, and recommend Blackwoods products and services to meet customers' needs. In addition to these relationship building activities will be your regular market activity analysis and regular reporting, which will see you keep ahead of competitor activity and give you that leading edge!
As our successful candidate you will possess a track record in sales and familiarity with the Industrial and Safety market. As this role will require you to manage the end to end sales process, you will have had exposure to budgets and KPI's, business development and networking, relationship building and management and closing sales. You will be mature minded with an ability to manage your own workload whilst monitoring your budgets regularly, but also be open to learning about the business and acquiring new skills and sales techniques.
